Bowling is another popular sport and there
are several bowling alleys catering to beginners and professionals

Cycling
Cycling at KL’s two main lake gardens
is a lovely ride through a beautiful environment. Taman Tasik Perdana's
track is more undulating, with parts of it going through woods and
around a lake. Taman Tasik Titiwngsa's track is more level, runs
entirely around a big lake and is easier for cycling.
Golf
Golf is fast gaining a large and dedicated following. Some of the
more popular golfing venues are the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country

Racing
Horse Racing at Selangor Turf Club on Jalan Sungai Besi is Malaysia's
finest racing. The weekend races are from about 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Batu
Caves
Batu Caves are probably one of the better known attractions in the
area and one of the holiest Hindu shrines in Malaysia. The labyrinth
that makes up the Batu Caves also supports a variety of exotic wildlife.
There is a 272-step concrete staircase leading to the temple cave.

Bird
Park
Bird Park is the largest bird park in South-East Asia,
located within the beautiful Lake Gardens. There are over 5,000

Firefly-Watching
Firefly-Watching at Kampung Kuantan is a singular experience. Take
a boat ride on the river through the mangrove swamps for an extraordinary
spectacle of fireflies by the thousands, winking like Christmas
lights in the warm tropical darkness. It's just magical and the

KLCC
Public Park
KLCC Public Park was designed by the late Roberto Burle Marx of
Brazil. The 50 acre park is located in the heart of the KLCC development
with tropical garden offering a fountain pool, children's playground,

Water
Parks 
Water Parks are fantastic places to cool off. These parks are designed
for families, so whether you have toddler who wants to play with
bubbles, or a big kid who wants an action packed ride, it's there.
The following are the better frequented spots: Sunway Lagoon Theme
Park features a wave pool, giant waterfall, little kids' pool, and
giant waterslides. Just float away the afternoon on inner tubes
in the Lazy River. The theme park also has (dry) amusement rides.
Desa Water Park has a bubble pool, three wave pools and water slides.
For the action-oriented, try out Thunderbolt, a thrilling uphill
water coast ride, or Supertube, ride your inner tube through loops
at fast speeds. At the Water Factory, turn wheels and push buttons
to shoot water in all directions.
